Genesis Integration Inc. (Genesis) is pleased to announce the purchase of assets from Edcom Multimedia Products Inc. (Edcom), based in London, Ontario.
After 35 years of serving clients in South Western Ontario, Edcom announced that effective October 17th, 2016, they would cease active operations. “Changes in our industry meant that we had to make a change,” said Edcom Owner Wayne Gowanlock, “We are excited about the opportunities this brings for the Edcom employees and look forward to better serving our clients with the Genesis Team.”
Genesis, a leading Canadian collaboration firm, has agreed to purchase the assets of Edcom and take over operations. In addition, Genesis will provide material and personnel support to Edcom, to facilitate Edcom’s warranty obligations to their clients. "In situations like these, there are always difficult conversations to have, but as one chapter ends, another begins." said Kelly McCarthy, President of Genesis Integration Inc. "We look forward to the Edcom employees joining Genesis and working with the clients and suppliers of Edcom."
