Genesis Integration was proud to be selected as the vendor of choice for the upcoming Memorial University of Newfoundland (MUN) AV project. The multimillion dollar project for the Faculty of Medicine will be similar to the $6 million dollar AV project that Genesis recently completed for the North Edmonton Clinic at the University of Alberta.
"Having had the experience of the North Edmonton Clinic helps enormously when taking on a project of this nature," stated Genesis National Sales Manager, Kevin McKay. McKay headed up the team that worked to secure the MUN project. "It helps a lot that Ian (Ian McWilliams, Genesis National Operations Manager) will be keeping a close eye on this one," noted McKay. McWilliams was instrumental in the successful completion of the North Edmonton Clinic project.
"I have an awesome team," stated McWilliams. "Having project managers with the experience and savvy that they possess makes my job of delighting our customers a lot easier." Genesis will be working in partnership with local AV expert Tucker Electronics. The partnership with Tucker allows MUN to have local service and expertise for quick response times to any issues that may present themselves.
The project consists of numerous high tech lecture theatres, boardroom and meeting spaces, and includes a great deal of collaboration and video conferencing technology. The goal is ultimately to expand the learning opportunities for the students that attend MUN.
